An amazing opportunity for undiscovered talents to explore, gain confidence and evolve in all aspects of hairdressing.

Visionaries will elevate your salon work and is fused with session, editorial techniques and presentation formats to enable you to present yourself and your work to industry audiences.

The program will enhance your skills and creativity, raising your profile providing you with amazing PR opportunities for you and your salon.

The Visionaries project is delivered by the multi award-winning Revlon Professional® Global Ambassador, Mark Leeson.

The scheme is open to all Revlon Professional® salons.

Visionaries Overview

Applications to be received by Friday 10th February 2023. From all the entries 12 finalists will be chosen.

The final will take place on Monday 27th February at the Revlon Academy in Leeds. You will asked to recreate your image on a mannequin head (colour and hairstyle) in front of a panel of industry judges. Mannequins and all Revlon Professional® colour, care and styling will be provided.

Four finalists will then be chosen as the Visionaries for 2023 and will be announced on the following day.

Learn how to enhance your salon work and retain a busy column by continuously introducing fresh ideas to captivate your clients.



28th March, 2023

Learn how to customise your cut, and how to adapt new fashion colour influences that your clients will love.



24th April, 2023

We further push your creative boundaries and  cutting techniques.   Elevating your confidence in session and commercial work to key platform stylist level.



25th April, 2023

Further push your creative colouring boundaries and develop an experts’ flair for colour and how to showcase this to the full within a great haircut.   



22nd May, 2023

Create a hair style that best befits your favourite runway fashion designer – this day focuses on fusing fashion/hair and styling management


23rd May, 2023

Project yourself with confidence, knowledge and expertise whilst hiding your nerves can be challenging to master.   Learn how to communicate with your clients, models, audiences using techniques that will be invaluable to your creative journey.   



7th August, 2023

This module focuses on preparation to help you break down your ideas and give accessible and efficient procedures to help you on your editorial and photographic journey.  Plan and design a moodboard from all you have learned to help you visualise and prepare for your forthcoming shoot.   



8th August, 2023

Work with the multi-award-winning Mark Leeson and his team of experts to bring your new skills to life in front of the camera.

The Process

  • You must be a hairdresser and a colourist with a minimum of 4 years hairdressing experience, to include a NVQ 2 qualification plus 2 year salon experience.
  • The scheme is open to all Revlon Professional® salons.
  • A fashion forward image of a before and after of your work showing an on trend haircut with amazing colour. Your image must be submitted on as part of the digital entry form by Friday 10th February.
  • Finalists will be invited to produce their look and present to an independent panel of judges on the
    27th February, 2023.
  • After the finals the winners will be announced on 28th February, 2023.
  • All Visionaries will be required to commit to the program.
  • All Visionaries are required to live and breathe the Revlon Professional® brand values and represent the brand in a professional manner at all times.
